To generate advanced G7 calibrations:

1. Add a new Media ModelA media model defines the targets used for calibrating for different classes of inks. See also Ink/Toner Model. or set of target densities.

2. Name and select the Curve2/G7 P2P Target for printing.

3. Print SwatchStandard print image used by RIP-Queue for profile generation. A swatch contains multiple patches..

NOTE: When generating your first G7 calibration target, leave the "Based on" selection on Default Calibration. When checking an existing calibration or building an iterative G7 calibration target, select a previous set of targets to print with.

4. Read Swatch using Advanced Readings dialog.

5. Export readings and import targets to and from Curve2 software.

NOTE: For information on how to use import readings, analyze the data and generate G7 calibration targets, please refer to Curve2 documentation.

6. Build new calibration.

To check G7 Calibration and/or build iterative calibration (Optional):

1. Repeat steps 1 and 3.
2. In Step 3, choose a previous G7 Calibration target.

3. Repeat steps 4 through 6.
